Hong Kongs Mark Six Lotto is a 6 out of 49 lotto game which is conducted by HKJC Lotteries Limited, a subsidiary of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club founded the Mark Six Lottery in 1975. The Club was formed in 1884 and has a long tradition of donating to charitable causes. The Jockey Club operates as a non-profit organization and donates approximately HK $1 billion annually, making them one of the most important philanthropic contributors worldwide. Additionally, the Hong Kong Jockey Club is Hong Kongs largest taxpayer, paying about 6.5% of all federal taxes. The largest Mark Six Lotto jackpot, HK$133.5 million ($17.2 million), was split between three winners in May 2011. Undoubtedly this is an impressive sum.

Mark Six take place every Tuesday, Thursday and non-racing Saturday or Sunday and is telecast live on TV at 9:30PM.

Prize Qualification

In each draw, 7 numbers will be drawn out of 49 numbers. The first 6 numbers are the Drawn Numbers and the 7th number is the Extra Number. Details of prizes as follows:

If the prize exceeds $5 million per $10 unit, all winning ticket holders or telephone betting winners (including entries placed on ESC card or 1886 Telebet Automated Services, etc.) are required to register by dialing the 1817 hotline within the time specified.(after the announcement of draw results and before 5pm the next day) (Bets placed via Interactive Services are excluded)

Valid betting tickets must be presented for payment within 60 days of the date after the relevant draw (Example: Winning tickets for the draw held on 1 March can be presented for payment on any day from 1 March to 30 April).

Mark Six Snowball Draw

Certain Snowball amount will be deducted from the Snowball Pool so as to top up the First Division Prize Fund to a specified amount in the Mark Six Snowball Draw. Snowball draws are usually held on special seasonal/festive occasions, e.g. Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.
